    The Modern Craftsman gets its name from the sleek craftsman style posts. The posts are what really make this design unique. They are comprised of four individual pieces, which are wrapped together for easy installation. This pergola kit, like the other two, can come stained, painted, or bare.

  • Rustic Pergola

    The Rustic Pergola design primarily refers to the beam and post connection. The posts are notched to hold two beams on either side. These beams are then bolted or “timber locked” to the post. This is a very sturdy and easy pergola to assemble. The post and beam connection allow for a larger margin of error than the dovetail connection (making installation very simple). This is a beautifully simple design that can be both elegant and rustic. In the photo to the left the rafters were set in pairs for a unique look. Rafters do not have to be set this way. Curtains and blinds-This is not only a great shade option but also provides a more elegant feel as well as privacy. Choose from a variety of colors and patterns to create the correct ambiance in your outdoor space, from fun and festive to soft and romantic! Canvas roof-This is a great option if you want more coverage on your pergola without having a permanent roof. Slide the roof closed to create a shady retreat; open it to let in the sun or gaze at the stars!



Solid roof-Make any pergola a complete shade structure by adding a permanent roof. Choose from glass, metal, canvas or shingles and enjoy the comfort of being outdoors but out of the sun!
